Amarante, Portugal

Hi, I'm Yuna,
I'm 18 years old and I've been accepted for the Erasmus 2024 scholarship to Amarante in Portugal! In the following posts I will explain my day to day life in this town full of charm, history and nature, wherever you go.

1- WEEK 1: We have arrived at Amarante

We flew from Barcelona to Porto to visit the village of Amarante that will host us this month thanks to the Erasmus scholarship.

2- WEEK 1: History in Amarante

Marcelo gives us a guided tour of Amarante where he explains its culture and history over the years.

3- WEEK 1: Internships

We started our interships but first Marcelo took us to another part of Amarante and in the evening we met the volunteers.

4- WEEK 2: Pizza with Patricia

Italian volunteer teaches us how to make pizza for dinner

5 - Surfing in Porto

Trip to Porto with the volunteers and we have the opportunity to do a surf lesson and learn how to surf
